CAS ends tomorrow, March 5th.
Filling in the final CAS summary sheet, it seems I've completed 263 hours of CAS in total. 78 hours Creativity, 77 hours Action, 108 hours Service. O_o
EDIT: Minus 12 hours from Creativity since I still haven't gotten my Piano supervisor evaluation form signed; can't be bothered to get all flustered about that now, since I have so many CAS hours anyway. So 66 hours of Creativity, 251 hours total.
After this, Commencement is on April 25th. Final IB exams begin May 2nd and end May 16th. Our Year 13 Dinner Dance (Senior Prom if you're American) is on May 25th.
So ends CAS. So ends IB. So ends high school. So ends childhood.

How to IB progress and continuity
Since the successful launch of the site with the subject choice articles, we've assigned each of us a few IA articles to write, but we haven't really gotten around to it.
A more pressing concern is the sustainability of "How to IB" after this current team graduates. Therefore, we're currently recruiting Year 12s. First, I was able to invite my former Shadow Prefect Ravish to the group, but due to schedule clashes having only met with him once.
Through Ravish, we tried to recruit more people, including the best writers in Year 12 as recommended by the English teachers. However, (Alvina, Amelia, etc) apparently turned down the offer.
I also was able to get into contact with an outstanding Year 12, Ivan, who had gotten 10A*s at GCSE. However, although he was very interested, it turns out that he's leaving SIS at the end of this year. He did, however, offer to spread the word. - So far, no response.
Ravish also spoke to his friends, and we have so far had 1 person submit an essay (we ruled that anyone wanting to join had to prove their writing ability).
We're still trying.

How to IB, year 11 subject choices

Initially, the idea dragged on for a long time, and the articles weren't coming out. By January mocks, we still had very few articles, primarily due to a flood of IAs.
But then Year 11 Options Evening drew closer, and we knew we had to make it in time for that if How to IB was to survive. After mocks last month, we finally were able to focus almost solely on this project.
The articles rolled out, we conducted interviews with other IB-ers by video chat, instant messaging and in person. Really quickly, everything took shape.
Then,

Pretty much all the subject choice posts are up on the site, now, and we've received good feedback.
We have to maintain focus and keep working hard on How to IB even after this, though, and keep posting new articles. The To Do list has expanded to include IAs and Y12 exams as our next priorities.
