Arranging with Georgia (Head Girl), we got a short slot in the final school assembly on the last day of term, to present the newly made Poetry Slam plaque to the winners, Jimin Kang in the junior section and Shreena Thakore in the senior section.
It was unfortunate that Audrey, Jimin and Shreena were all away from school, so it wasn't much of an award presentation.
However, it turned out better than I expected. I just said a few things and waved the plaque around a bit.
Then I used the opportunity to advertise Poetry Slam.
Here's to hoping for more success next year.
